Flickr

Hey there viewers! I just wanted to add a page explaining Flickr a little bit.

Flickr is a great free site for sharing pictures and video with family and friends. On our home page, on the right sidebar, you will see what we’ve dubbed as our “flickroll”. Clicking on any of the pictures there will take you over to the Flickr site so you can view the image there.

When you’re viewing a photo on Flickr, you can check out all sorts of things.

When you look at the pictures on flickr, there may be “boxes” on the image! Hover over the box with your mouse to see a note from us about that picture! It’s great for tagging things we want to point out about the picture.

Each photo has “tags” on the right side of the screen. The tags will show you what we’ve associated that picture with, like the “Park” or “Eating Right”.

Each photo also shows additional information about the picture on the bottom right hand side. It includes the camera it was taken with (like the wonderful Canon Powershot SD 1100 that Josh got me for Christmas) and the day it was taken!

You can also comment on images by creating a free Yahoo! account, or signing in with your existing one!

If you click the “all sizes” button above the image, you can view a full size version to get a better look!

If you click “Moustachio’s Photostream” on the right hand side, it will take you to the front page of our Flickr site so you can see all the pictures and videos we’ve uploaded! There’s a GREAT slideshow button on the top right hand side that will scroll through all of our images!

If you would prefer to just scroll through the photostream, you can do that too! We have uploaded more than will fit on one page, so when you scroll to the bottom you will see page numbers (like 1, 2, 3, 4.. etc) that you can click to jump farther back in the photostream!

But we’ve also tried to make it a little easier on you! If you just want to see pictures from New Years or pictures from our “Everyday” Album (that includes random pictures, or pictures from our eating right plan), then just click on the Album you want to view on the right hand side of the screen!

Don’t forget if you have any questions, feel free to contact us by leaving a comment!
